Visit Old Sturbridge Village all day to see the Redcoats & Rebels! The Village is transformed into a series of military camps and visitors are invited to meet and mingle with re-enactors from both sides of America's historical conflicts. Come see what it was really like for those who fought to win America's freedoms. Great fun for the entire family! Come back with your evening pass on August 1 to visit the encampments by twilight. Authentically costumed actors will camp out, recreating early American military life in the fields and pastures of OSV. Take in the sights, sounds, and smells of camp life by weaving through the tents and chatting with the civilians that accompany the soldiers including doctors, wives, and children as they too live the life of a soldier.

Activities include:
--fife and drum corps
--camp cooking
--instruction in marching formation for kids of all ages
--cannon demonstrations, and more!

Please note that the twilight encampment is open until 8pm on Saturday, August 1—but exhibit buildings close at 5pm. Food service and gift shops will remain open.
